![]() ![]() In this way the game is refraining achievement hunters from using even the least game changing mod :\ ![]() If I wanted I could just use Cheat Engine and get (almost) unlimited gold and exp points. Curating tghem is basically impossible under the workshop system (and they don't want to restrict what people post up anyway, that would defeeat the main purpose of the Workshop) and even if it was it would be both a nightmare and very contentious - who is to say whether a particular mod does or does not give a player an advantage. So the idea that Larian could curate mods and give some of them a green light for achievements is sadly a bust, it's just not going to happen. ![]() They need to be fixing gameplay issues for now. And even if they did they simply don't have the time, or couldn't possibly justify spending the time, to check them all to determine if each mod and eeach update of each mod did or did not give the player an advantage. The problem is Larian do not control what gets posted up in the workshop nor do they control when individual mods get updated. There are certain mods that are very popular, such as toolbar alterations and speeding up enemy move animations etc., that clearly give the player no advantage at all and it is understandable people are miffed at not being able to run them and get their achievements. Not all mods give the player an unfair advantage. The problem is that I cannot install mods like fast run and mods that adds new abilites.
